The short version
We handle one piece of personal information: the phone number and name attached to an appointment. We use it to send appointment texts, we don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and you can ask us to delete it. That's it.
What we collect
- Appointment details: your first name, phone number, and appointment time — entered by you or the business's front desk when you book.
- Message activity: whether reminders were delivered and how you replied (for example, confirming or cancelling).
We don't collect payment details, health records, or anything about why you're visiting the business.
How it's used
Only to send appointment confirmations, reminders, and replies, and to alert the business if you cancel. Nothing else.
Who sees it
- The business you booked with — they see their own appointments.
- Our infrastructure providers (our texting carrier and hosting provider) — strictly to deliver the messages.
We never sell your information. We never share it with marketers.
Your rights
- Reply STOP anytime to end text messages.
- Email hello@getremint.com to see what we have on you, correct it, or have it deleted.
About the text messages
Mobile numbers are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies — up to about 4 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP.
Data retention & security
Appointment records are kept only as long as the business needs them for scheduling, then deleted. Data is stored on secured servers with access limited to the operator of Remint.
